How do I book a Covara property?

You can browse and enquire directly through our website. For direct bookings or enquiries, use our Book a Stay page or contact the team.

What is included in a Covara stay?

All Covara properties are fully equipped with hotel-quality linen, towels, toiletries and kitchen essentials. Each home is professionally cleaned before every arrival. Specific inclusions vary by property.

What are your check-in and check-out times?

Standard check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available depending on the property’s schedule, just ask us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Minimum stay requirements vary by property and season. Most Covara properties require a minimum of two nights. Some premium homes and peak periods require longer minimums.

Are pets allowed?

Pet policies vary by property. Some homes welcome pets and some do not. This will be noted on the property listing. Please contact us before booking if you plan to bring a pet.

Do you offer longer stays?

Yes. Covara offers both short-term and extended stays, including accommodation for relocating professionals, corporate travellers, and guests renovating or transitioning between homes.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary by property and are shown clearly at the time of booking. We recommend reviewing the policy before confirming. Bookings cancelled 14 or more days before arrival are eligible for a full refund.

Is there a concierge service available?

Yes. Covara offers a full concierge service covering restaurant reservations, transfers, grocery pre-stocking, activity bookings and more. Visit our Concierge page to learn more or contact us to discuss your requirements.

What happens if something goes wrong during my stay?

Our guest support team is available 7 days a week. Contact details are provided in your pre-arrival information. For urgent matters, we have an after-hours line to ensure you’re never left without assistance.

Can I use a gift voucher for my booking?

Yes. Covara gift vouchers can be applied to any direct booking. Contact us to redeem your voucher when making a reservation and we’ll apply the value to your stay.

Listing & managing your home.

What types of properties does Covara manage?

Covara specialises in premium Sydney homes, from harbourfront houses and architect-designed residences to luxury apartments. We are highly selective and accept only properties that meet our quality standard.

How much can I earn from my property?

Results vary by property, location and availability. Covara homeowners typically achieve 40–70% more than comparable long-term rental returns. We provide a tailored revenue estimate during the onboarding conversation.

Do I need to be available during stays?

No. Covara is a fully hands-off management service. We handle everything, guest communications, check-in, housekeeping, maintenance coordination and reporting. You simply receive your monthly statement.

Can I still use my home when I want to?

Yes. Owner blocks are built into the calendar at your request. We simply ask for reasonable notice so we can manage guest bookings around your dates. Your home remains yours to enjoy.

How are guests vetted?

All guests are screened before booking is confirmed. We review booking history, verified identity and profile completeness. We reserve the right to decline any booking that does not meet our guest standards.

What does onboarding involve?

Onboarding includes a property walkthrough, professional photography, listing creation across all major platforms and a pricing strategy review. Most homes are live within two weeks of signing.

What are your management fees?

Our fees are performance-based and competitive. We charge a percentage of revenue only when your property earns, no fixed monthly charges. Exact rates are discussed during your initial consultation.

How do you protect my property?

All guests are verified and screened before booking confirmation. We conduct condition checks before and after every stay, maintain a damage register and manage all claims. Covara has resolved 100% of damage claims to date.

How do I receive my income?

Owner payments are processed monthly, accompanied by a detailed statement showing revenue, occupancy, guest ratings and any costs incurred. Payments are made directly to your nominated bank account.

Is short-stay legal in Sydney?

Yes, subject to NSW regulations including the Code of Conduct for Short-Term Rental Accommodation. Covara manages full compliance on your behalf, including platform registration and council requirements.

How does Covara maximise booking performance?

We combine professional presentation, strategic pricing, premium guest targeting, multi-platform distribution, and ongoing optimisation to position each home for strong occupancy and long-term performance.

How do I get started?

Visit our List Your Home page and submit an enquiry. A member of the Covara team will reach out within 24 hours to arrange an initial call and property assessment.

For Real Estate Partners

Partnering & referring with Covara.

How does the Covara referral programme work?

Real estate agents who refer a homeowner to Covara receive a referral fee upon the property going live. The arrangement is straightforward and we handle all follow-up so you can focus on your core business.

Does Covara compete with real estate agents?

No. Covara manages short-stay hospitality, we do not buy, sell or lease properties. Our relationship with the real estate industry is entirely complementary. Many of our homeowners are introduced by their agents.

Can Covara help during a sales campaign?

Yes. Many vendors use Covara to generate income while their property is on the market. We work around inspection schedules and campaign timelines to minimise disruption while maximising pre-sale returns.

What types of properties do you work with?

We focus exclusively on premium Sydney residential properties, houses, apartments and estates in established suburbs. We do not manage standard investment properties or properties below our quality threshold.

How do I register as a referral partner?

Contact us via our Real Estate page or reach out directly to our partnerships team. We’ll introduce ourselves, outline the terms and get you set up to start referring within a few days.

Can Covara provide landlord references for tenants transitioning to short-stay?

We are happy to speak with agents or property managers as part of a transition process. Our track record across our portfolio speaks to our care for the properties we manage.

Covara is a luxury short-stay hospitality company based in Sydney. We manage a curated collection of premium homes, delivering hotel-level guest experiences and exceptional returns for homeowners.

Where does Covara operate?

Covara operates exclusively in Sydney. We are deliberately focused on one city, our knowledge of Sydney’s suburbs, guests and market is what allows us to deliver consistent, exceptional results.

How is Covara different from Airbnb?

Airbnb is a listing platform. Covara is a hospitality management company. We partner with Airbnb and other platforms as distribution channels, but our service goes far beyond listing, we manage every aspect of the guest experience and property operation.

Is Covara licensed?

Yes, we hold a NSW real estate licence. Covara operates in full compliance with NSW short-term rental regulations and the applicable codes of conduct. All properties under our management are registered and compliant.
